IG US, along with its Chicago-based creative agency, Fusion92, released an anthem video featuring an iconic red sheep to introduce their brand into the U.S. forex trading market.

Challenging forex traders to join IG and separate from the pack of standard forex trading options, The Red Sheep represents IG’s first brand campaign since their launch into the U.S. forex trading market in February of 2019.

Team exceeds expectations
“We challenged Fusion92 to push the creative limits and truly think outside the box,” says Conor Shea, Head of U.S. Marketing at IG. “The team exceeded expectations, and through this great creative partnership, we were able to craft a campaign as forward-thinking as our brand.”

In collaboration with award-winning director Julian Acosta and Fusion92’s Studio440, the campaign aims to bring awareness and recognition of IG, as well as emphasize IG’s value proposition of providing greater value through low spreads, its award-winning platform, and 24-hour trading support.

“My friends at Fusion92 had such a great idea involving a red sheep. I’m compelled by creatives with passion for their work such as this, so I jumped on a plane to Chicago to help bring the spots to life,” says Acosta. “I couldn’t be more proud of the work and the team.”

 
Brand campaign
The integrated brand campaign will be distributed on social and digital media, including one 30-second spot and two 15-second spots. The brand campaign’s focus is a sheep whose wool is colored a bold red, with the intention of empowering risk-takers, as well as encouraging risk-taking, in the world of forex trading.
