Paris Schutz, a seasoned journalist with nearly two decades of experience at WTTW, has been appointed as the new political reporter for Fox-owned Chicago station Fox 32 (WFLD).

With a deep understanding of the local Illinois/Chicago political landscape, Schutz is poised to bring insightful coverage to viewers and will also helm a weekly political show set to debut later this year.

Schutz’s impressive career trajectory began nearly 20 years ago at WTTW. Starting as an intern, he swiftly ascended the ranks, serving in various roles including producer, reporter, and eventually co-host of Chicago Tonight. Additionally, Schutz has lent his expertise to hosting Week in Review for five years at WTTW, solidifying his reputation as a trusted voice in Chicago’s media landscape.

In his new role at Fox 32, Schutz will spearhead all political coverage for the station, offering viewers in-depth analysis and exclusive insights into key political developments at the local, state, and national levels.
