OLYMPIAN MICHAEL PHELPS and other gold medalists were taped by a Flashpoint Academy team last week, as they followed the champions around Chicago for a webcast.
During the whirlwind 14-hour shoot day, the team shot man-on-the-street interviews with Phelps’ fans at Millennium Park, asking about their attitude towards Chicago possibly winning the bid for the 2016 Games.
They covered the Phelps-led children’s swim clinic at Fosco Park on the Near West Side, the press conference that followed, before the big Oprah taping and a VIP reception at the Hilton Hotel for Mayor Daley and Chicago 2016 supporters.
