Grand Rapids appears to be the newest indie film center as three indie features will start rolling next month and two others are planned to follow.
First up Nov. 28 is “Sleepless Beauty,” co-starring Meg Ryan and Ashley Tisdale in a contemporary version of the fairy tale, directed by Sara Sugarman (“Confessions of a Teen Age Drama Queen”).
Right on its heels are two features that go production almost simultaneously from Randall Emmett (“Righteous Kill”), a veteran producer with some 60 movie and TV credits.
