Filmmaker reps Polish 35mm blowup facility

Filip K. Rymsza is repping Warsaw, Poland 35mm blowup facility Digital Lab, which offers HD to 35mm Arri-LASER transfers starting at $250/minute, along with a variety of digital and analog video and film transfers.

Rymsza, a local filmmaker who was born in Poland, met Digital Lab principals Pawel Smietanka and Piotr Jaworski while on a festival tour of his debut feature “Sandcastles: Binary Blindfolded Brides.”

“What I found there was a beautiful, state-of-the-art facility, housing an Arri-LASER, one of only a handful in all of Europe, and a very gifted staff, all of which were being grossly under-used,” Rymsza said. “There are only 4 HD cameras in all of Poland. These guys are way ahead of their time in that part of the world.”
