Back by popular demand, it’s the 2nd Annual Film Workers’ Holiday Market Pop-up! Come shop and support Chicago’s talented film workers!
The market will take place on Saturday, November 16th at CineCity Studios from noon until 5pm.
The Film Workers’ Holiday Market began last year in response to the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes. Having the film industry shut down left many film workers without a steady income and uncertainty about the future. Hoping to brighten everyone’s holiday season, the IATSE Local 476 Women’s Committee set out to create a market where film workers could sell items to the public, and be together during what is now considered one of the most difficult times in the industry’s history.

This year film workers will again be selling a wide variety of items, including; artwork, vintage items, handmade jewelry, baked goods, beauty products, clothing, holiday decorations and so much more! Check out their items for sale on Facebook.
New to the market this year will be live music by industry connected bands, the ‘Wildwood Flowers’ noon – 1 pm and ‘Saturdays with a Z’ 1 – 2 pm. D.J. set by ‘Party in the Box’, and more!
Come get your picture taken with Santa, from 2pm – 4pm, or test your crafting skills at the holiday make-and-take crafting booth upstairs. Have an old pair of leather shoes that need shining, bring them to the Shoe Shining booth on the first floor.
There will also be delicious food for sale, including; banana leaf tamales, empanadas, vegan jerk tacos, peach cobbler, gourmet popcorn, gluten free focaccia and so much more!
This event is open to the public, with free parking and admission! So please tell everyone, all are welcome!!!
