IT TOOK MORE THAN FOUR DAYS for the crew from Boston-based Joseph Finn & Co. auctioneers to organize and tag all the hundreds items owned by Film & Tape Works that will be auctioned off May 18 onsite and online.
FTW, owned by Jim Mahoney and his ex-wife, Kari Blunda, closed last month after 30 years of film/video production and post. Operations are rapidly wrapping up in the building they own and operated at 247 E. Ontario.
“Only a skeleton crew remains to finish up the remaining jobs,” Blunda said. She asks that clients with elements still in storage at FWT should contact the office at 312/280-2210 to arrange for pick up or delivery.
