Fencepost adds two editors and a full slate of finishing talent

Fencepost, a progressive Chicago based studio specializing in film and video post-production services for advertisers since 2016, unveils the expansion of its virtual boutique to include the addition of editors Charlotte Carr and Matt Jameson along with a comprehensive lineup of finishing talent.

Known for her work cutting visual-effects driven pieces, editor Charlotte Carr has worked with brands ranging from Panasonic to Nike and KitchenAid to Visa. Her award-winning career began at The Mill London, progressing through their New York studio and culminating as Head of Editorial at the Chicago office.

Editor Matt Jameson has been a staple of the Chicago advertising community his entire career. Beginning at the Whitehouse and continuing through agencies and studios like We Are Unlimited and Banner, he now edits independently. A frequent collaborator with Chicago agency Highdive, Matt’s Super Bowl LVII work for RAM Trucks is a highlight.

Drawing on years of connections and experience, the company has built an impressive roster of Fencepost Friends – the independent artists that are turned to time and again on projects and are the heart of the company. These include motion designers Jesse Willis and Trevor Rose, audio engineer Sarah Webb, colorists Jeff Altman and Fred Keller, and Flame artists Brooks Tomlinson and Justin Winkler

“We’ve been partnering with these artists for years, many since the very beginning. We’re thrilled to showcase the amazing post talent clients can rely on to elevate their projects,” said founder/editor Nate Pence. “They’re seasoned pros, and honed their craft at some of the world’s top studios working with global clients at the highest levels.”

Fencepost offers these artists to clients in a way that recognizes the changing advertising landscape. Pence explains, “We’re built on value and flexibility. Without the limits of a brick-and-mortar space, we can scale up or down to whatever the project requires – from staffing to editing on set or a fourwall, color grading in a supervised session over remote video, or mixing completely virtually.”

An artist-founded studio, Fencepost has grown from a single creative editor to handling all of post for broadcast campaigns, social video, and content of all kinds.
