FCB has announced that Eunice Kindred and Wilbert Cheng are the recipients of the agency’s third-annual #FCBsocialEYEs at Cannes 2019.
Eunice and Wilbert were chosen from more than 50 FCB applicants worldwide as part of the #FCBSocialEye contest, which first kicked off three years ago to give junior talent the opportunity to be inspired by the best and the brightest in Cannes.
In an effort to continue normalizing working parents in the ad industry, the agency is sending Eunice Kindred, associate creative director at Neon, an FCB Health Network Company, and her two young daughters to Cannes.
Eunice was selected to be the FCB Network’s second-ever “Working Parent Cannes Correspondent.” She and her daughters Winter, age 5 and Nyla, age 4 will be tasked with engaging the many attending Cannes leaders and luminaries on issues of inclusion, parenting and creativity and posting about it on social media.
This is the second year in a row that FCB is sending a working parent correspondent.

Top 3 reasons I (well, WE!) would be the best FCB Working Parent Cannes Correspondent: 3) My girls are FCBers from birth! They've celebrated personal milestones from birth (both of them!) to birthdays to first days of school with the Neon family. These little Neonites have sat in status meetings (my account team loves their diligent "note-taking"), will smize and pose in any photoshoot, cheer on the sidelines for our championship basketball team (go big blue!), and be my roadies when I DJ for internal FCB events like the Adobe Creative Jam 2) I'm excited to show that working parents can do this. It isn't "work" when you love what you do and sharing this experience with my daughters will hopefully inspire them to be leaders, embrace their creative side, and open up their minds to new things. 1) I have the coolest little travel buddies who are game to tag along with me, to meet and talk to everyone at Cannes and allow me to experience this festival of creativity from a new perspective @fcbsocialeye #fcbsocialeye #fcbworkingparent
The agency is also sending Wilbert Cheng, content creator from FCB Chicago.

As a videographer and photographer, I’m always seeking out inspiration for my next project. And as inspiring of a city as Chicago is, sometimes nothing sparks creativity as much as traveling can. ✈️ That’s why I’m applying to be FCB’s next #FCBSocialEye. I’d love to take that passion for travel with my current skill set to report back all the inspirational things I see at the Cannes Lions this year! Also, huge shoutout to @lifesabeacham for taking b-roll of me when I couldn’t be behind the camera haha. 🎥
