FCB combined humor and suspense to create a pair of unforgettable new Glad trash bag commercials.
Staging unique thrills with high production values and slinky, fabulous spy music, Apartment Leap and Ultimate Noses show how Glad’s product line can be as thrilling as the noirishly cool titles suggest.
Along the way, they showcase real people and real dogs in a style that doesn’t often appear in typical advertising campaigns, beginning with a “Do Not Attempt” message for the viewers.

APARTMENT LEAP
The walk to the curb can be a dramatic experience when you have to worry about leaky trash. So Glad heightened the anxiety by hiring a professional stuntwoman to perform the Hollywood version of taking out the trash, ultimately proving that there is no leak or “trash walk” that Glad’s Advanced Protection bag can’t handle.

Stinky trash odors are unwanted elements that can ruin the ambiance of a home. Luckily, Glad with Febreze makes even the most pungent kitchen odors undetectable. To put Glad’s odor-blocking trash bags to the test, the brand brought in a team of highly trained sniffer dogs and created a series of tests that went head-to-head with the competitor.
The spots are the latest additions to Glad’s Torture Test, a campaign designed to “highlight the product’s efficacy and technology” that FCB debuted last year.

Torture Test launched in February with The Toughest Trash Bag, a 90-second miniature documentary tracking a Glad trash bag’s journey through the luggage-handling processes in airports across the country that plays like an undercover exposé.
