It’s official. Chicago Fire is back in town filming Season 11. The first location of the day was Firehouse 51, home of Engine 51, Truck 81, Squad 3, Ambulance 61 & Battalion 25.
Truck 81 pulled out of the firehouse and headed to the second location at the City of Chicago Fuel Site 010 in a scene with Mouch (Christian Stolte) behind the wheel and Gallo (Alberto Rosende) pumping gas.
We don’t want to post any spoilers but you can enjoy these photos of the real firehouse as well as the crew at work with Mouch and Gallo in the scene.
Chicago Fire, is the first installment of the Dick Wolf, One Chicago franchise following the lives of the firefighters and paramedics working at Firehouse 51. The team faces life or death decisions every day but look out for each other like family, no matter what happens.

In the Season 10 finale we saw the long awaited wedding of Severide (Taylor Kinney) and Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo). After a few hiccups, Boden (Eamonn Walker) walked the bride down the aisle. Casey (Jesse Spencer) and Brett (Kara Killmer) returned to town for the nuptials and addressed their uncertain future. The power struggle between Violet (Hanako Greensmith) and Emma Jacobs (Caitlin Carver) came to an end when Emma bolted during a rescue abandoning her team when the flames got too close. Bye bye Emma. Violet and Hawkins’ (Jimmy Nicholas) relationship is strained and judging by the long lingering looks between Violet and Gallo, we may be seeing a lot more between these two in Season 11.
Of course no Chicago Fire finale is complete without a cliffhanger and Season 10 left us with another big one. Severide, who always does the right thing, got mixed up with some bad dudes resulting in a battle where one of them meets his demise as Severide kicks him out of a window to is death. We get the feeling that this battle is not settled yet. In the final scene our newlyweds arrived at their honeymoon cabin in the woods and someone is lurking outside.
You will find me sitting in front of my TV for the Season 11 premiere on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 8 CST!
