DP Neumann has enviable Ron Howard gig

When DP Michael Neumann of One World Production spent three days shooting Ron Howard for an “Iconoclasts” episode, he found the veteran director “so brilliant about film that I felt I went to grad school.”

“Whatever he speaks about eventually comes back to his talking about directing from his perspective of 52 years in front of or behind the camera,” Neumann says.

“Everything is carefully thought out. He is a super mellow and normal guy with a calming intelligent way about him.”

Known for his real people and documentary skills, Neumann was tapped by “Iconoclast” executive producer Joe Berlinger and his collaborator/director and noted documentarian, Bruce Sinofsky, for the recent enviable assignment.
