Digital Cinema Society and Atomic Studios hold live educational event

With the safety and success of their first post-pandemic in-person event last month in L.A., the Digital Cinema Society has taken their show on the road and scheduled a DCS Chicago event at Atomic Studios

The free of charge event features Infinity Photo-Optical Lenses – Blackmagic URSA 12K – DaVinci Resolve – OWC. RSVPs are required and Covid safety protocols will be observed.

The in-person event will be at Atomic Studios on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 4PM-7PM. The program will feature live demos from:

 * Infinity Photo-Optical lenses offering unique perspectives for
   Micro/Macro tabletop photography
 * Blackmagic URSA MiniPro 12K camera
 * DaVinci Resolve high-resolution workflows and new features of
   DaVinci Resolve v17.4 presented by Ari Golan
 * New storage and workflow products from OWC that help to make
   high-resolution workflows possible.

There will also be a screening of a short demo photographed by cinematographers Bill Bennett, ASC, James Mathers, and Cameron Cannon along with behind-the-scenes coverage as they became familiar with Infinity Micro/Maco lenses. Jay Margolis, the inventor and CEO of Infinity Lenses will also be on hand to explain the science behind these unique lenses and to answer technical questions. We will also screen a short piece produced by DCS highlighting the benefits and challenges of shooting 12K.
