Dave Helem is a stand-up comedian, writer, and actor from Chicago. Returning home after graduating from Morehouse College, Dave started his career teaching high school on Chicago’s South Side and quickly learned that was not his calling.

Deciding to give comedy a try, Dave quickly ascended the comedy ladder and found himself opening for Tracy Morgan and Doug Stanhope, and then later going on tourto numerous cities with Hannibal Buress and Tony Rock.
