Dan Levy says ‘Ew’ to Schitt’s Creek pop up in Chicago

Dan Levy, Schitt’s Creel co-creator and star

Fans of the beloved Emmy Award winning POP TV show Schitt’s Creek have been anxiously anticipating the Lincoln Park pop-up “Schitt Happens” within Replay, which specializes in unauthorized pop-ups for pop culture themes such as Friends, Game of Thrones, and Rick and Morty.

The event opened on February 12, 2021, and three days later show co-creator and star Daniel Levy, who plays David Rose confirmed that the event was unauthorized and not sanctioned by Schitt’s Creek.

He stated,

“Heard about a Schitt’s-inspired pop up happening in Chicago. I appreciate the enthusiasm but the event isn’t sanctioned by Schitt’s Creek and rumors of cast attending are untrue. Encouraging all to keep making choices that do not risk the health & safety of themselves and others”
