Bestselling novelist and writing instructor Mary Carter of Chicago’s famous The Writer’s Loft, will tackle the tricky key element of conflict in storytelling in her presentation at the March 8 meeting of the Chicago Screenwriters Network.
Carter heads the highly acclaimed, 20-year Writer’s Loft, having succeeded its founder, Gerald Cleaver, her mentor, who died last April.
Her CSN presentation, “What’s the Problem,” will be drawn from Cleaver’s five-star best-seller, “Immediate Fiction” and his course material.
SCN meets at Mrs. Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro, 3905 N. Lincoln; 6 p.m. Free to CSN members; $5 advance registration, $10 at the door.
