Cramer-Krasselt remains in Porsche’s driver’s seat

It’s always great news when an account comes to a Chicago agency. It’s even better, with the slew of accounts that have left, when an agency is able to keep the account. That’s the case of our friends at Cramer-Krasselt who reportedly have retained lead creative duties for Porsche in the U.S.

Cramer-Krasselt retained lead creative duties for Porsche in the U.S. A source with knowledge of the account confirmed to Adweek. The appointment followed a review which began in October and reportedly included Anomaly as the other finalist, according to this source.

Cramer-Krasselt and Porsche both declined to comment to the outlet.

The decision follows Cramer-Krasselt’s “The Heist” Super Bowl spot for Porsche, promoting the brand’s electric Taycan Turbo S.

Cramer-Krasselt’s work for Porsche has also included a 2016 print ad promoting the Porsche 911, which the brand touted as “the world’s first interactive hologram print ad.”

According to the report, Porsche spent nearly $14 million on measured media channels last year and a little under $11 million in the first two months of 2020 (see aforementioned Super Bowl buy), according to Kantar Media.

Reel Chicago reached out to Cramer for confirmation, but the agency declined to comment.
