to new position
Cogniscient Media, the branded media practice of MARC USA, has created the new position Director of Integrated Media and promoted Sadie Barlow to fill it.
Dave Buklarewicz, EVP/ Executive Media Director, explains, “To meaningfully bring our clients brands into people’s lives, it’s critical that our media plans deliver the most relevant content to each person in the most relevant contexts and points in their customer journey. Sadie’s role is to ensure that all key disciplines — analytics, MarTech, customer experience, CRM, etc. — are engaged from the start of all planning.”
Buklarewicz added, “It’s far more than just bringing together linear and digital media. Today’s increasingly data-driven media plans may encompass everything from market tiering to strategies for building local reviews, SEO and SEM, CRM and a host of brand experiences that flow seamlessly from offline to digital and vice versa.”
He continued, “Sadie brings real expertise in keeping the customer at the center of every media solution. Her leadership of our work for QDOBA Mexican Eats exemplifies integration across every agency discipline and has contributed to QDOBA’s excellent business results this year.”
Barlow joined Cognisicent Media from Norbella shortly after the Cogniscient launch in March 2018.
The agency has been on a rapid growth streak — in addition to QDOBA, McLean Hospital (part of Harvard Medical School), the Maryland Lottery, and most recently Jelmar’s CLR products have joined Cogniscient Media. Other clients include the Belle Tire, Carle Foundation Hospital, Navistar / International Trucks, Five Star Senior Living and the Pennsylvania Lottery.
To accommodate this growth, Cognisicent moved to an expanded office in Boston’s Charlestown neighborhood and also opened a Baltimore office in May to serve the Maryland Lottery.
