CineTech returns to Cinespace in September

Barbizon Chicago presents CineTech 2018, the Midwest’s premier education event for film and television lighting and support, on September 8 at Cinespace Chicago Film Studios.

Sponsored by IATSE Local 476, DePaul University, and Cinelease Chicago, the event will feature a robust showfloor where industry standard lighting and grip vendors will highlight their newest product.

CineTech seeks not only to excite the attendees about the new technology, but lso to educate them as to its application and functionality. There will be a full day of classes offered, ranging in scope from basic broad strokes to highly technical and specific deep dives, perfect for attendees of any experience level.

All classes will be led by industry professionals with years of experience in their field, many of whom are members of Chicago’s Local IATSE 476 Union. The show is completely free and open to the public, with registration now live at cinetech2018.com.

CineTech will be held on Chicago’s CineSpace Studios, with classes running from 8a-4p and the vendor floor open from 9a-4p.
