(Chicago — 2 October 2018) Chris Bergen was today named Executive Vice President, Business Director at Leo Burnett Chicago. Bergen joins the agency from We Are Unlimited, where he oversaw business leadership, new product launches and communications for the McDonald’s brand. He starts in his new position immediately and will report to Denny Grant, Head of Business Leadership, Leo Burnett Chicago.

“Chris brings a strong pedigree in next-generation, integrated product, and will be a great addition to the agency,” said Grant. “He will help us continue to evolve our team, which is part of the Publicis Power of One model, and has a proven track record of identifying creative solutions that drive business results for his clients.”

Bergen will work closely with Jordan Doucette, who was hired as EVP, Executive Creative Director to lead creative for The Kellogg Company earlier this year; Joe Gray, EVP, Strategy Director, and Alycia Mason, Kellogg’s One lead for Publicis Groupe. He will be responsible for overseeing a cross-functional team driving business success for Kellogg’s iconic brands.

“The Kellogg’s business is a shining of example of creativity, strategy and media working together as one,” said Bergen. “My vision is to make Kellogg’s the network’s best case study for integration. The more we work together, the better the consumer experience becomes.”

Bergen was a motivating force behind McDonald’s flipped arches in recognition of International Women’s Day, Audi’s record-breaking sales growth, and Samsung’s continued market leadership. Throughout his nearly 20-year career, he has supported brands across a myriad categories and global markets. His experience includes CPG, retail, automotive, consumer electronics, tourism and commodities.

His work has been recognized by The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and D&AD, among others.
