EDUARDO LETAMENDI AND ARMANDO HERNANDEZ are two of the 12 feature filmmaking fellows attending the 2010 NALIP Latino Producers Academy in Santa Fe, New Mexico through Aug. 20.
Letamendi and Herndandez are co-writers of the family comedy “4 Days Until Christmas,” about a clan road tripping from Chicago to Mexico to see their ailing patriarch for the holidays.
Letamendi is attending the Academy as director, and Hernandez is attending as producer. NALIP provides mentors, SAG cast and crew to shoot scenes from the screenplay during the Academy.
Letamendi wrote and directed the drama short “Rising Up,” which was featured in the Chicago and New York Latino film festivals. See
