Chicago P.D. is the first of the One Chicago trio to wrap for the season. Filming of the finale was completed on Friday, April 12.

The three Dick Wolf shows that make up One Chicago Wednesdays on NBC are finishing up this short filming season, giving us about half the normal number of episodes for a season.

Chicago Med will wrap this week, and Chicago Fire will be the last to complete filming around May 2.

Buried Pieces, the upcoming Episode 10 of Chicago P.D. airing on May 1, will feature Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) in a kidnapping case.

With just a few episodes left in Season 11 of Chicago P.D., it seems logical to focus on Upton. This case could potentially be her final one, or it might set the stage for why she chooses to depart from the Intelligence Unit.

In the promo, Upton encounters a little girl who mysteriously wanders into the police station. When Upton inquires why she’s there, the girl reveals that her mom “doesn’t leave the house.” Upon further questioning, the girl explains, “he doesn’t let her.” The girl refers to him as “the monster.”

As they approached the filming of the finale, Marina Squerciati’s post on instagram showed a gathering of most of the cast along with her comment, “Almost done filming for Season 11. I love these people, BUT SWEATPANTS HERE I COME.

To the cast and crew of Chicago P.D., we wish you sunshine and sweatpants for a well deserved hiatus! Best wishes and a fond farewell to Tracy Spiridakos. We will all be watching your rising star!
