The SCL, established in 1945, serves as the premier organization for music creators working across visual media, including film, television, video games, and musical theatre. With existing chapters in Los Angeles, New York, and Nashville, the addition of the Chicago Chapter signifies the organization’s commitment to supporting music professionals nationwide.
The SCL Chicago Chapter will focus on fostering community among local composers and songwriters, addressing the distinctive opportunities within Chicago’s vibrant music industry. Members can look forward to seminars, industry screenings, networking events, and collaborations with allied organizations.
