Chicago Int’l Film Festival’s Industry Days goes virtual

The Chicago International Film Festival, presented by Cinema/Chicago, today announced this year’s Industry Days will be held virtually for a global audience, October 12-18, 2020.

Early Bird accreditation is now available for qualified participants to secure registration at the lowest price. Registration prices will increase to the regular rate on August 21. Film and media professionals interested in attending should apply for credentials here.

In addition to the seven-day conference, Industry Days Early Bird registrants will be invited to a pre-festival Master Class in Film Producing on August 26 with independent film maverick Ted Hope, former co-head of Amazon Studios and Good Machine, whose films have garnered 12 Oscar nominations.

“This year we’re very excited to be able to expand the reach of Industry Days by taking the conference online,” said Anthony Kaufman, Industry Days Senior Programmer. “ Although the entertainment industry has been hobbled by the pandemic, this is the perfect time to focus on artistic and professional development, which will be in no short supply during the conference. And our impressive lineup of guests will be Zooming in to offer guidance and expertise from all over the world.”
