In a time when most people are just trying to survive, others are doing their best to help those in need. One person doing just that is acclaimed Chicago actress / producer Deanna Reed-Foster (Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D.) who has just launched a powerful PSA video series titled I’m Tired to raise $500,000 to aid Black-owned businesses on the South and West sides of Chicago.
She hopes to help heal racial divides in the city, and promote positivity in these neighborhoods! The first of the three-part PSA video series, titled See Me, debuts Aug. 2, 2020 via social media.

About Deanna Reed-Foster:
Actress Deanna Reed-Foster grew up on the south-side of Chicago. She has appeared in several stage, TV and film projects. Most notably, she has a recurring role on NBC’s Chicago Fire. She has appeared in The Chi, and in the film Southside With You (Sundance 2016).
In 2017, she was nominated for best supporting actress by the Joseph Jefferson awards for her role in the stage production of Even Longer and Farther Away. In 2017, she worked with Oscar nominated director Steve McQueen, and is set to appear in Oscar nominated director Richard Linklater‘s Last Flag Flying with Laurence Fishburne. Deanna’s faith in Christ is first and foremost in her life. She lives by the credo “#LiveOnPurpose” and seeks to fulfill God’s will and purpose for her life.
