Chicago Film Rep launches photography art show


Jim Deloye of The Candy Store, known across the land as independent rep for Live Action, Animation, Design, Interactive & Experiential studios has been busy in his Coronavirus QuARTintine  bubble. He’s now got a brand new photography show up at Archie’s Cafe in Rogers Park


This new LightWerks Photography show represents Jim’s travels and adventures from places like New Orleans, Baltimore, Portland, Door Co. WI, NYC, Santa Monica, South Dakota, Puerto Rico, Hawaii…and more. Some of the work features portraiture of people and others are compositions of interesting places and things. Jim’s one of a kind signed works feature repurposed frames, custom matting and in many cases, HD PRISMA filter renders, all printed on archival paper.

Archie’s, located near the Loyola CTA Red Line stop is well known as a friendly neighborhood eatery that features house made varying selections of entrees, salads, sides and bakery with locally sourced, organic ingredients, and tasty selections of beers, wines, cocktails and healthful elixirs. With their outdoor bubble, table seating, staff and patrons practicing safe Covid-19 protocols, Archie’s has become Rogers Park’s inviting social nutrition oasis. 

Visitors are welcomed at Archies to see the new art work and experience delicious tastes. The art works are being sold at affordable prices and each piece sold will donate 10% of the sale to the staff tips at the end of the show. Most of the staff are Loyola students, artists, musicians and aspiring Michelin chefs.
