This holiday season, Old Navy brings the joy of togetherness and style with its latest campaign, “Love is in the House,” featuring Chicago-born, EGOT-winning star Jennifer Hudson.
Known for fashion, fun, and inclusivity, Old Navy has enlisted Hudson to embody the holiday spirit in a campaign that encourages everyone to bring their unique style and chosen family to the Old Navy house.
In the campaign, Hudson plays the role of the ultimate holiday hostess inside a vibrant Old Navy holiday house. Dressed in Old Navy’s sparkling High-Rise Rockstar Jeans in Black Shine, a Long Sleeve Sweetheart Velvet Top, and a Black Faux-Fur Jacket, Hudson hosts a festive house party brimming with style and surprise.
The scene is a playful wonderland, featuring dancers Lexee Smith and Raphael “The Sandman” Thomas, nine-year-old dancer Brody Hudson Schaffer (a.k.a. Boss Baby Brody), and Old Navy’s very own Magic the Dog. Guests join a conga line in shimmering denim, revel in indoor winter scenes, and even break a few house rules, like skiing through the foyer—all bringing the magic of the holidays to life. We had so much fun creating this holiday party together – from the decorations to all the amazing outfits, you can’t help but feel transported to a magical winter wonderland. This season’s Old Navy collection features embellished denim, cozy sweaters, puffer coats, and fleece jackets, with the iconic Jingle Jammies perfect for family photos or glammed-up holiday gatherings. “It was a dream come true to work with Jennifer Hudson and see her sparkle in our new Shine denim,” said Zac Posen, Executive VP and Chief Creative Officer of Old Navy. “Collaborating with her to spread joy through our ‘Love is in the House’ campaign felt like the perfect way to celebrate the season.”
Hudson, who also released her first holiday album, The Gift of Love, brings her rendition of “Winter Wonderland” to the campaign. She expressed her excitement: “The holidays are my absolute favorite time of year, and no one celebrates like Old Navy! We had so much fun creating this holiday party—you can’t help but feel transported to a magical winter wonderland. Love was in the house, and we were feeling fabulous!”
To celebrate her album, Hudson will embark on a four-city tour, with performances at The Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, The Chicago Theatre, Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, and Fontainebleau Las Vegas. The Gift of Love album will also be available at select Old Navy stores during the tour.
The “Love Is In The House” campaign is set to air on social media, cinema, and major streaming platforms like Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and more, reaching audiences during key holiday events, including 34 NFL games over Thanksgiving and Cyber Monday.
