“Ben’s Glasses” by Energy BBDO for Pearle Vision

The Chicago Advertising Federation announced the winners of this year’s American Advertising Awards in a video posted to YouTube yesterday.

Chicago’s largest shops were represented equally in the results, but mcgarrybowen emerged with the highest honors, winning Agency of the Year as well as Best of Show for Oscar Mayer’s For The Love of Hotdogs.

 
The Chicago Advertising Awards is the first phase of a three-tiered journey that, for the winners, ends at the national American Advertising Awards. It runs concurrently with similar events in cities throughout the country.

The CAF announcement represents the first virtual presentation of the honors.

The winners of the local rounds will advance to a fifteen-district competition, where judges will select the campaigns, commercials, and agencies that will advance to the national stage of the American Advertising Awards.

The national winners of the American Advertising Awards will be announced in Chicago on June 8.
