After six years of rapid growth in Washington, D.C., interactive media marketers Carousel30 selected Chicago for its first satellite office.
“Despite the rough economy this year, we thought it was time to move into a new market,” says Greg Kihlstr?m, co-founder/creative officer, heralding Chicago’s standing as “a major hub in the advertising and marketing world.”
Kihlstr?m feels being in Chicago offers the company “a great opportunity for us to do good work and get noticed,” he says. “We’re interested in working with the big Chicago agencies on interactive and motion graphics work especially.”
Carousel30 offers web design and development, online marketing and video/motion graphics production. The Chicago office will primarily focus on business-to-consumer digital design projects.
Early Midwest clients have included a re-branding for Modern Dentistry magazine, and an Addy award-winning flash website for the non-profit Detroit-Windsor Journal Project.
