We hoped for more time, but next week the Season 12, Episode 6, Port In The Storm is officially Brett’s final Chicago Fire episode, as Kara Killmer leaves the series.
Kara Killmer became a part of the Chicago Fire family, taking on the role of paramedic Sylvie Brett, debuting in the third season premiere on September 23, 2014.
It’s no surprise that Brett’s departing episode, her wedding with Matt Casey, will take center stage. Casey (Jesse Spencer) proposed to her in the season 11 finale, but the episode concluded before Brett responded. Fast forward to the Season 12 premiere, viewers discovered that Brett indeed said yes.
Here’s what NBC released as the synopsis for Season 12, Episode 6:
Firehouse 51 welcomes back some familiar faces and says goodbye to Brett. Violet scrambles to decorate Brett’s wedding venue. A call at the expo center takes a shocking turn.
Violet (Hanako Greensmith) is in high gear finishing up the final wedding decorations for the wedding reception at Molly’s. The exterior scenes wedding scenes at Molly’s were filmed on February 6-7 at Lottie’s 1925 W. Cortland St. The interior Molly’s scenes were filmed on the Chicago Fire stages at Cinespace.
Brett’s final Chicago Fire episode will air on NBC on February 28, at 8 PM CT.
