bmedia expands from interactive media into TV/film development and production

Schaumburg interactive media specialists bmedia are making a dramatic move into TV and film production, with animated and live-action series and several independent features in the works.

“The real strength that we built our business on was new media, interactive media, web development, touch screen kiosks and digital signage,” said bmedia president Jim McClain.

“But we invested so much in high definition post-production equipment in the last few years, which combined with the fact that more filmmakers are using hi-def, we’ve had more [film and TV] opportunities come our way.”

bmedia signed on to seek sponsors for the second season of Pluton restaurant owner and chef Jacky Pluton’s new series “The Fairway Gourmet,” which is set to debut nationally on PBS this September, with vignettes appearing on United Airlines’ in-flight United Entertainment Network.
