Soles (Stripes), and Bill Murray himself, The Experience was named in 2017 as an official selection at the Los Angeles Cinefest, the American Documentary Film Festival, and the Los Angeles Television, Script, and Film Festival. It also won Best Documentary at this year’s Hollywood Florida Film Festival.

Viva Lundin’s ‘Living Green’ honored by American Society of Landscape Architecture
The documentary, Jens Jensen The Living Green, received an Honors in Communications from The American Society of Landscape Architecture (ASLA https://www.asla.org/) on October 23.
Produced by Viva Lundin Productions and the University of Michigan, The Living Green tells the story of Jens Jensen, a Danish immigrant to Chicago who “made almost 600 landscapes that brought the life force of the prairie into the city.”
Today, the “Poet of the Prairie” is celebrated for his pioneering efforts to grow once unique ideas like public parks and conservation into everyday staples of American life.
“This is a really important video that ought to reach a wider audience,” declared ASLA awards the jury. “It documents the fact that a lot of the innovative things that Jensen did were perceptive forerunners of today’s environmental movement.”
Founded in 1899, the American Society of Landscape Architecture boasts more than 15,000 members in chapters representing all 50 American states and 42 countries around the world.
JWT/NY helps launch 2018 One Show call for entries campaign
J Walter Thompson New York’s “Be Famous Famous” integrated campaign was designed to help spread awareness for the One Club’s prestigious One Show awards, which will accept submissions until January 31, 2018.
With print, video and interactive, the campaign “makes a comical statement about how winning a coveted One Show Pencil is the only way to be not just industry famous, but ‘famous famous,’” according to a press release.
The One Show was created in 1973 by the One Club, a non-profit organization devoted to excellence in advertising. It hosts annual competitions in advertising, design, interactive and branded entertainment, and honors individual winners with a Gold Pencil.
According to the show’s website, the Gold Pencil is “the ultimate symbol of creative excellence.”
The campaign’s The Fanatics video does a man-on-the-street thing with people in NYC parks and subway platforms “who are rabid fans of One Show winners and fawn over their advertising heroes as if they were Beyoncé or Prince Harry.”
“JWT’s campaign is a tongue-in-cheek take on fame and how The One Show can make it possible,” said Kevin Swanepoel, CEO, The One Club for Creativity. “At the same time, entering work also helps the industry overall because The One Club is a global non-profit organization that uses awards revenue to give back to the industry through nearly two dozen education, professional development, gender equality and inclusion and diversity programs for creatives around the world at all levels.”
One Show shortlists will be announced in November 2017 and January 2018. Finalists will be announced in April 2017. Winners will be honored on May 9 & 11, during creative week in New York City. For a complete entry kit, click here.
