BEN BYER’S documentary “Indestructible,” about his globe-spanning search for innovative treatments for ALS, will have its world premiere at the prestigious 17th Annual Cinequest Film Festival, Feb. 28-March 11 in San Jose, Calif.
Byer, who suffers from ALS, and producer Rebeccah Rush are raising finishing costs through their nonprofit ALS Film Fund.

MICHAEL CAPLAN of Montrose Pictures is in post-production on his feature documentary “Shows of Wonder,” a documentary about the “small but highly influential group of magicians who are bringing magic back to its roots” in shamanistic and healing traditions.
“Shows of Wonder” documents the diverse practices of leaders in the field of “magic with meaning.”
They include Eugene Berger, Max Maven, Jeff McBride, Luna Shemada and Larry Haas, whose work is intertwined with myths, fables and education.
