A dozen of the biggest makers of LED lights for film and video production will convene at Barbizon Chicago’s March 5 Open House, providing Chicago image-makers with the first display of LED lights in one convenient collection.
“LEDs are at the forefront of lighting technology and that’s where lighting is heading,” says Jill Stewart, branch manager of lighting specialists Barbizon Chicago.
“Although LEDs are still in their infancy, every single person who comes in asks about them,” she says. “We’ve spent the last three weeks organizing the exhibit to satisfy the interest in this latest lighting advancement.
“Not only will you be able to see the light you are thinking is ?the one,’ but you will be able to compare it with all the different models, ranging in price from $300 to $3,000, side-by-side, all in one place.”
