The 1st Annual Hero-Con convention will be held from September 27th to September 28th at CineCity Studios.
Hero-Con is a gathering of independent video game developers, celebrities, VR technologists, educators, motion-capture/voice-over actors and influencers. All of whom are generously sharing their knowledge, experiences and technological innovations to fellow creators, fans, video gamers, and streamers. Whether you are an experienced developer; a newcomer to the process ready to launch a gaming idea or product; or an enthusiastic player looking to join the ranks of the Tournament Champions, there will be much to learn and enjoy in-person at Hero-Con.
Hero-Con was created by the video game historian, award-winning podcaster and film director Vincent Vladimir “Vlad” Shade as an expansion of the Heroes Of Gaming Podcast. Shade was inspired to organize Hero-Con due to the 600,000+ downloads and counting of his podcast.
“The video game industry and film industry are merging closer and closer together which makes CineCity Studios the perfect fit to host the next generation of indie video game devs, workers and players,” said Shade.
The primary conference activities will include immersive demonstrations, hands-on workshops, and celebrity panels. In addition, Hero-Con will provide educational classes on AI integration, DEI frameworks, sound mixing, navigating industry roadblocks, video game performance, producing, and pitching YOUR ideas.

Hero-Con will also serve as a pressure-free marketplace for independent video game developers. Creatives are welcome to highlight their ideas, showcase trailers, and market their games! Attendees will be able to relax and enjoy video game experiences from the modern AAA to the retro-era throughout the convention.
