Even before officially being named Midwest representative, Fletcher Chicago rented the revolutionary new Arriflex D-20 on two commercials and two features are lined up for rentals.
Four years in development, the D-20 is a high-end film-style digital camera that acts like a film camera but records with immediate digital acquisition.
It’s the first digital camera produced by ARRI, the leading German manufacturer known for its high-end motion picture equipment.
“To be named only one of three outlets in the U.S.?along with Clairmont in California and CSC (Camera Service Center) in New York?is very big,” said VP Tom Fletcher.
