AICP Midwest Gallery: They met. They drank. They talked.

AICP Midwest

They probably ate, too. Chicago’s advertising and production community gathered once again last week as AICP Midwest hosted its annual Meet.Drink.Talk. networking event at Tunnel in River North.

The longtime industry tradition drew a strong turnout of agency producers, creatives, directors, editors, post artists, crew members, and commercial production professionals from across the Midwest for an evening focused on reconnecting, building relationships, and celebrating the creative community that powers Chicago’s advertising industry.

Held at Tunnel, the event transformed the River North venue into a hub of conversation and collaboration, where attendees enjoyed drinks and appetizers and had the opportunity to catch up with colleagues, clients, and friends outside the office and production set.

For more than 15 years, Meet.Drink.Talk. has served as one of the Midwest production community’s signature annual gatherings. What began as a casual mixer for AICP Midwest members and agency producers has evolved into one of the most anticipated networking events on the local advertising calendar.

Over the years, the event has made stops at some of Chicago’s most recognizable nightlife destinations, including Rockit Bar & Grill, The Underground, The Backroom, and now Tunnel. Despite the changing venues, the mission has remained the same: bringing together the people behind the work in a relaxed environment that encourages meaningful connections, conversation, and community.

The event is organized by AICP Midwest, the regional chapter representing independent commercial production companies and postproduction houses throughout the Midwest. The organization continues to play a key role in supporting the region’s production ecosystem through networking events, educational programming, advocacy, and industry initiatives.

As the summer production season ramps up, Meet.Drink.Talk. once again proved why it remains a fixture on Chicago’s creative calendar—offering a rare opportunity for the city’s advertising, production, and postproduction communities to gather under one roof and celebrate the relationships that drive the industry forward.
