ACE Comic Con brings supercharged world to Chicago

ACE Comic Con will transform the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center into a supercharged bastion of activity, engagement, entertainment, and information over the weekend of October 11.

Featuring appearances by big screen stars and Q&As with behind-the-scenes players, the event’s agenda achieves must-attend status for fans and professionals alike.

Multiple programming stages, a creator spotlight, and a growing list of celebrity guests like Captain Marvel’s Brie Larson, Thor’s Chris Hemsworth, and Spider-Man’sTom Holland and Jake Gyllenhaal are among the highlights of the weekend-long event.

Today, ACE dialed up the excitement by announcing that WWE Superstar Braun Strowman, “The New Face Of Destruction,” will also attend to provide photo ops, sign autographs, and join a live Q&A panel.

Co-founded by former Wizard Entertainment CEO Gareb Shamus and his brother, Stephen, the ACE Comic Con resides within the ACE Universe, “a media brand representing the voice of the superhero generation.” This year’s event reinforces that boast by complementing the celebrity attendees with more than 60 artists, musicians, and writers, and hundreds of vendors and exhibitors.

Creators scheduled to appear at the Midwest edition of ACE Comic Con include Marvel Studios’ Director of Visual Development Andy Park, renowned artist Olivier Coipel (Amazing Spider-Man, Captain America, Legion of Super-Heroes, Wolverine), Good Charlotte lead guitarist Billy Martin (who has also worked as an artist for Marvel, Nickelodeon, Disney, and others), and Ohio-based tattoo artist Tori Robinson (Ink Fusion Empire).

ACE Comic Con Midwest takes place October 11-13 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. Admission ranges from 1-day tickets to 3-day passes, bundled packages, and several VIP deals. There are also deals for photo-ops and autographs.

Fans should note that all of the options carry the same warning: “Admissions that are purchased from unauthorized websites (i.e. CraigsList, eBay, StubHub, etc.) will not be honored for entry.” To learn more, click on this.
