75-plus vendors to display newest wares at Swiderski’s 27th Tech Expo

Chicago’s answer to NAB, albeit in a smaller forum that’s easier to get around, is Swiderski Electronics’ annual Technology Expo that brings more than 75 leading tech names to the area for two days of hands-on exhibits and product seminars.

“Working Smarter through Technology” is the theme of the 27th annual expo, to be held Sept. 15-16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Swiderski’s corporate offices, 800 W. Thorndale, Itasca. Admission and parking is free and open to all.

The newest product solutions will be presented in the fields of visual presentation, digital video/audio, analog video/audio, video-on-demand, multimedia, CCTV/security/surveillance, streaming media, videoconferencing, and non-linear editing, among others.

Not to be missed is the first Midwest showing of Sony’s highly anticipated yet-to-be-released Anycast, the powerful live event content creation system, and Apple’s new motion compositing software.

Some of the companies represented will be 3M, AMX, Apple, Barco, Boeckler, Brightline, Canopus, Cartoni, Clarity, Colortran, Crispin, Crown, DPS, Draper, Echolab, Extron, Fast Forward Video, Focus Enhancements, Fujitsu, Furman Sound, Gentner, Hitachi Denshi, JVC, Keywest, Leightronix, MagicBox, Marantz, Panasonic, Panasonic CCTV, Philips, Pioneer, RGB Spectrum, Scala, Shure, Sigma, Snell & Wilcox, Sony, Tandberg, Toshiba, VBrick, Viewcast, and Zenith.
