NEW YORK-BASED “LIVE FROM MIDTOWN” has a casting call Feb. 20 for actors, models, dancers and musicians of all ages for its variety talent competition coming to Chicago for a March-July shoot. They’re hiring a local director, producer and PA.
Production company SYGM has produced versions of the show in New York and Atlanta. Hashim “Trends” Smith (VH1’s “I Love New York”) hosts.
The Chicago show will be broadcast in August on the Dish Network.
“Live From Midtown” runs Mondays at 4 p.m. on DISH Ch. 9407. Bronx high school teacher Gregory Stancil launched the series three years ago. See
