Chicago Fire raises the bar on stunts in The Wrong Guy

Chicago Fire pulled out all the stops when they returned from their break. In less than 5 minutes into episode 10, The Wrong Guy, Chicago Fire pulled off one of the biggest stunts of the season.

Our Chicago Fire cast and crew seem to accomplish the impossible, with no use of AI, and only a few days to rig a complicated stunt. It’s the real deal.

Engine 51 gets a routine call on a car crash that turns out to be a life threatening challenge for Severide and Kidd. What appears as quick and skilled action by the Chicago Fire rescue team is only possible when a highly skilled crew has their back, making things work flawlessly.

Here is the scene in one take from every camera angle. Miranda Rae Mayo’s happy dance at the end of the take was well deserved.

This episode, and all previous episodes of Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med are available for streaming on Peacock.

Check back next week. Reel Chicago will be covering the biggest stunts on Chicago Fire.
