Wrangler and Coors Banquet partner on first-ever co-collection

From outfitting cowboys for generations to offering the same brewing tradition since 1873, Wrangler and Coors Banquet know firsthand what it takes to be the best in the West.

Now the Two Western icons are riding together for the first time. Wrangler and Coors Banquet have teamed up to launch their debut co-branded collection, a line of more than twenty apparel pieces celebrating grit, craftsmanship, and legacy for a new generation.

To mark the launch, the brands tapped artist Caitlin Hatch to create Rocky Mountain Watercolors, a series of hand-painted Western-style posters made with an actual watercolor blend mixed from Coors Banquet beer. One poster was even painted inside a live rodeo arena. These one-of-a-kind ads will roll out across digital and OOH platforms nationwide and are also available for purchase through September 3 at shop.coors.com. Take a look below:

“The Coors Banquet and Wrangler collaboration is about two western icons coming together. We wanted to honor and celebrate that in a really authentic way. So we created watercolors painted in the only beer with true western credentials – Coors Banquet,” said Colin Selikow, Chief Creative Officer at DDB Chicago. “These are the first ads created in beer! It captures a moment in western culture in a way that is true to these iconic brands, and hasn’t been done before.”

The Wrangler x Coors Banquet Collection includes denim vests with custom embroidery, graphic tees, pullover sweaters, Wrangler® 13MWZ Cowboy Cut® Jeans with limited-edition copper hardware, and more. Fans can find the collection at Wrangler.com, shop.coors.com, and select Wrangler retail stores.
