The Edgewater Chamber of Commerce announces the Winter Bryn Mawrkets, a pop-up initiative focused on helping small business owners and artists that have been impacted by the pandemic, while bringing more shopping opportunities to the Bryn Mawr Historic District.
This project is part of the BACP Small Business Storefront Activation Program aimed at activating vacant storefronts across the city.
The Winter Bryn Mawrkets will take place at 1052 W. Bryn Mawr Ave and 1040 W. Bryn Mawr on Fridays 3-7pm and Saturday and Sundays 1-5pm starting the weekend of Nov. 18 through Feb. 12, 2023.
Several storefronts in the Bryn Mawr Historic District will create additional destinations for people to shop for gifts, purchase art from local artists, view one-of-a-kind art installations and participate in hands-on activities through the holiday season and into the new year.

The large market space located at 1052 W Bryn Mawr, is a staged seasonal store, selling items such as self-care products and apparel, to home goods and art. Vendors include; Sweet Comb Chicago, Phlomena + Ruth, Sonya Marin Designs, Smushface Goods, augustnoa, Deep Field Aromatics, Art Hub Chicago, Gorjus Whips Cosmetics.
The smaller gallery space located at 1040 W Bryn Mawr, will feature multiple artists to showcase their works for a long weekend or up to three-months, selling their items and actively using the storefront as a studio space.
