Eight interesting and offbeat docs and shorts by area filmmakers will screen at Evanston’s Talking Pictures Festival, May 6-9, as part of its 23 programs of long and short films.
Discussions with filmmakers, experts and community group will follow most screenings, “to allow the audiences to engage more deeply with the films they’ve just seen,” say co-festival directors Kathy Berger and Ines Sommer.
