ReelChicago.com is hosting a get-together Thursday, Aug. 12 for the seven filmmakers who did Chicago proud in the 2004 17,000-entry Project Greenlight competition.
Come meet Scott Smith, a top three finalist; Duane Edwards, one of the top 10; Brian Perraud, Rus Blemker and Brian Craft, who made the 250 cut, and screenwriting contenders Brian Pinkerton and John Zoppi.
And lots of special guests.
Place: The Moonshine Caf?, 1824 W. Division. Time: 6-9 p.m. Cost: Filmmakers’ specially priced cash bar, with food generously provided by Caf? owner John Sanchez.
