Power Book IV: Force will end after Season 3

A representative of STARZ has confirmed with Reel Chicago that Season 3 of Power Book IV: Force, which is currently filming in Chicago, will be the final season.

Showrunner and executive producer Gary Lennon and lead Joseph Sikora have also confirmed that this will be the end of Force.

Lennon said he received sufficient notice to create a fitting conclusion to this epic chapter of Power Book IV: Force that will not disappoint fans. He is already working on developing another installment within the Power franchise.

Lionsgate Television recently signed a new deal with Lennon to extend their creative partnership. Under the pact, Lennon is continuing to work with Lionsgate and STARZ on development opportunities to expand the Power Universe and create new and unexpected franchise extensions for Power fans.

In what has proven to be the cost-cutting formula of the Power franchise, a series concludes and is followed by a spinoff show. Joseph Sikora, the lead actor playing Tommy Eagan says, “I can’t wait to show you what we have planned next.”

STARZ announced plans to expand the Power Universe with the development of Origins, a prequel series that delves into the origin story of fan favorite characters Ghost and Tommy.

Joseph Sikora says “Tommy’s journey is far from over.”

Sikora shared this Instagram message with fans: “When Gary Lennon and the other writers and I were mapping out our third season, we saw that we were telling a complete story, and that this was the perfect opportunity to stay true to our artistic vision and make this the final chapter in Tommy’s journey in Chicago. But don’t worry, Tommy’s journey is far from over with. We’re just getting warmed up, and I can’t wait to show you what we have planned next. … So tune in, because ghosts never die, and Power never ends.”

The Power Universe is not ending. The franchise continues to evolve, amplifying the next chapter and finding fresh, expansive storytelling for fans.
