On Friday, July 26, Pixquid will unveil Pixquid 3.0, a groundbreaking platform that merges streaming, community engagement, and marketplace functionality into a single destination for filmmakers, audiences, and industry professionals. The official launch event will take place at CineCity Studios, from 7–10 p.m.
More than just an upgrade, Pixquid 3.0 is a total game-changer, designed to flip the script on traditional entertainment models—empowering filmmakers, investors, and distributors to collaborate in exciting new ways, all while serving up endless fresh, independent content for audiences of all tastes.
“Our goal is to turn the gatekeeper problem into a gate opener solution for filmmakers,” said Rujanee Mahakanjana, co-founder and CEO of Pixquid.
The event is being held in partnership with several major innovation hubs, including P33, 1871, 2112, the Coleman Entrepreneurship Center (CEC) at DePaul University, and the Independent Film Alliance Chicago (IFA).
Attendees can expect an evening of networking, awards, food and drinks, and an exclusive first look at the Pixquid 3.0 platform. Guests will be able to try out the platform firsthand and engage with the team behind its development.
From emerging indie voices to seasoned creatives, Pixquid 3.0 is positioning itself as a space where artists can thrive—on their own terms.
