Pinnacle Advertising is strengthening its executive bench as it enters its next phase of growth, announcing the appointments of Jules Boasberg as Chief Growth Officer and Jon Berna as Chief Technology and Data Officer.

The dual hires signal a clear focus on scaling the agency’s business development efforts while deepening its data and technology capabilities.

Jules Boasberg Named Chief Growth Officer

Following a year-long national search, Pinnacle selected Boasberg for his extensive experience driving agency growth, leading new business initiatives, and building high-performing teams.

“We knew we needed someone exceptional to help guide Pinnacle into its next chapter,” said Michael Magnusson, CEO of Pinnacle Advertising. “Jules brings the strategic mindset, leadership experience, and cultural alignment we were looking for. His track record speaks for itself.”

Boasberg joins Pinnacle after being recommended by a leading agency consulting firm that has worked closely with him for years. Known for architecting long-term growth strategies and cultivating strong client relationships, he will oversee Pinnacle’s business development across markets. While based in Kansas City, Boasberg will spend significant time at the agency’s Chicago headquarters collaborating with teams and driving new opportunities.

“Pinnacle has incredible talent, ambition, and momentum,” Boasberg said. “From the first conversations, it was clear this is a place where meaningful growth is already happening. I’m excited to build on that foundation and help scale the agency’s capabilities.”

Jon Berna Appointed Chief Technology and Data Officer

Pinnacle has also elevated longtime partner and collaborator Jon Berna to Chief Technology and Data Officer, formalizing a relationship that has been years in the making.

Berna first worked with Pinnacle as a client while leading several dealership groups, before later founding a data and analytics company that partnered closely with the agency. After successfully selling that company, Berna continued working with Pinnacle as a consultant, playing a central role in developing its advanced technology platform.

“Jon has been part of the Pinnacle story for a long time,” Magnusson said. “Bringing him into the organization full-time is a major milestone. His expertise in using data to drive lifetime customer value through both acquisition and retention is unmatched.”

In his new role, Berna will lead Pinnacle’s data, analytics, and technology strategy, focusing on innovation and expanding the agency’s ability to deliver measurable business outcomes for clients.

Together, the additions of Boasberg and Berna underscore Pinnacle Advertising’s commitment to growth, performance, and future-ready capabilities as the agency builds toward its next chapter.
