One Chicago crossover brings back Halstead and Upton

One Chicago Crossover

NBC’s One Chicago crossover returns March 4 with a unified storyline running across all three shows. Titled The Reckoning, the event brings together Firehouse 51, Gaffney Medical Center and the Intelligence Unit in a single high-stakes case that begins with a passenger jet emergency and expands into a widening criminal investigation.

The story begins when Firehouse 51 responds to an airfield call after a passenger jet goes silent mid-flight. What initially appears to be a large-scale rescue quickly opens into a broader investigation that moves through Chicago Med’s emergency department and ultimately lands in the hands of Hank Voight’s Intelligence Unit.

The crossover also marks the return of two key Chicago P.D. characters.

Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) and Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) are both confirmed to appear. Their return follows an unresolved and emotionally complicated departure, adding a layer of tension to the crossover. Within the storyline, Upton is now working with the FBI, while Halstead is assigned to a U.S. Army drug interdiction unit. Their re-entry places them back alongside Voight (Jason Beghe) and the Intelligence team as the case escalates.

Based on released network images, the One Chicago Crossover features major players across all three series.

From Chicago Fire:
Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney), Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo), Joe Cruz (Joe Miñoso), Dom Pascal (Dermot Mulroney), Mouch (Christian Stolte), Violet Mikami (Hanako Greensmith) and Lyla Novak (Jocelyn Hudon).
