SEASON 1 Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story
The season focuses on the life of Jeffrey Dahmer, chronicling his transformation into one of America’s most infamous serial killers. Between 1978 and 1991, Dahmer committed a series of gruesome murders in Bath Township, Ohio; West Allis, Wisconsin; and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. These crimes shocked the nation with their brutality and the chilling methods Dahmer employed.

UPDATED: SEASON 3 will center on serial killer Ed Gein
This installment of the anthology series will delve into the life and crimes of Ed “The Plainfield Butcher” Gein, one of America’s most gruesome serial killers. Born in La Crosse, Wisconsin, in 1906, Gein grew up in a repressive household dominated by his religiously fanatic mother. After she died in 1945, Gein’s mental health deteriorated, and he began exhuming corpses from local cemeteries to create objects from human remains, including furniture and clothing.
In 1957, Gein was arrested after the disappearance of a local woman led authorities to his farmhouse, where they discovered grotesque artifacts made from human body parts. Though he only confessed to two murders, Gein’s gruesome acts inspired iconic characters in horror films, such as Norman Bates in Psycho, Leatherface in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Buffalo Bill in The Silence of the Lambs. He was declared insane and spent the remainder of his life in psychiatric institutions, dying in 1984. Charlie Hunnam will portray Gein in the third season.
Monster is an original series, currently streaming on Netflix.
